Q2 : Can you explain how is the security system in NULS? How is it work?

A: NULS has improved the DPoS consensus system adding an embedded mechanism that allows automatic punishment for bad behaving nodes
for example if a node tries to double spend, or it just nor process on time, then the network will issue yellow cards, each yellow card effectively reduces the reward rate for each node and their stakers, until eventually they are kicked off from the network with a red card . another difference with DPoS systems is that we do not have a hard cap for the number of nodes that can process transactions

A: of course, we have a full noe wallet (just useful if you own a consensus node), a light desktop wallet and a web wallet. whats more, if you build your own customized blockchain using Chain Factory, it will create a compile an explorer and a web wallet for your project instantly!

A: Sure! Nerve is our own cross chain solution designed to complement NULS blockchain, it will allow btc, eth and other token holders to enjoy the benefits of NULS blckchain (like its speed) and vice versa. The design is a lot simple than COSMOS for example because its is not to be a single chain for every task but to complement NULS blcokchain, for example Nerve does not have smart contracts module because it will use the one that NULS offers so NULS + Nerve is the full solution, but having 2 blcokchains enables us to evolve and adapt faster .

Instead of asking about the attack event in 2019, I want to ask you how you fight it. Nuls is still very strong. Available in many major exchanges. Hack attacks happened a lot in blockchain? You remained strong. I appreciate.

A: We indeed have been attacked! (which coin that is worth something hasn’t?? )
after the attack we conducted a very thorough internal security audit with more than 10 developers focused in finding bugs
the attackers new the protocol very deeply so we are sure they tried again, gladly the security audit proved to be thorough enough and we solved a few critical bugs… just one address was attacked and most funds were recovered (our users didnt loss anything)
in the future we plan to conduct third party security audits

How did NULS structurally integrate the external service module and the basic infrastructure module? Can there be compatibility problems between 2 modules? What role does the built-in smart contract virtual machine (NVM) play here?

A: There is no compatibility problem at all, public service module is used by applications that need to access the state and history of all addresses, for example if you want to build your own explorer
and the basic infrastructure modules (collectively called Nulstar) are used to orchestrate the individule module apps. A virtual machine (VM) is a piece of software that is in charge to process smart contracts, ie translating a piece of code writting in a language that humans can understand to a language that computer can understand in almost real time.

Beacuse of tough market conditions many projects are far from the targets. What is NULS’s strategy to survive in this long blockchain marathon?

We also have income selling services, including our Chain Factory solution that in a few weeks manage to earn 91 000 NULs (more than 18 000 USD at current prices) , not bad at all taking into account current environment. We decided to burn those tokens to slowly reduce the offer and therefore increase the demand and also as proof that we indeed have another source of income. In other words we do not have funding problems for the foreseeable future

A: As other projects NULS has a strict protocol so if a node tries to double spend other nodes will notice and will agreed to emit a yellow card , the same for otehr type of infractions, it is difficult to cheat the blockchain and we found a good way to do it automatically for most common type of attacks!

but mostly we have the embedded ability to adapt and evolve faster than anybody, because our microservices architecture allows us to develop and upgrade individual modules (using any dev language you want), in fact infrasructure is made in c++ and nuls modules are made in Java!
Let me put it this way… if Vitalik finds ultimate scalability solution, while he is receiving the Turing award, we will pack the solution in a module and deploy it to Chain Factory months or even years before Ethereum!

Q12: What opportunities does NULS offer developers in terms of cost, speed and security, and how does it give developers freedom?

A: Our solution is very well suited to Developers because they can use any development language to code modules, so they can build complete systems without the need to learn a new language (for smart contracts only java is supported for now) , this of course reduce development costs to companies a lot.
Also as we use microservices, developing modules is a lot faster and easier to deploy, very good for cloud
and lastly we offer free direct support for our partners so they can implement their solutions faster and effectively!
